Featured Georgetown Clinic Services

The clinic offers manual therapy, acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, dry needling, specialized exercise management, vestibular and dizziness rehabilitation, and soft tissue release. In 2019, Georgetown introduced Shockwave Therapy to the community of Halton Hills, used to treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis, calcific shoulder tendonitis, tennis elbow, and patellofemoral pain.

Georgetown also runs dedicated Pelvic Health and Concussion Management programs. The Pelvic Health program supports both men and women with concerns such as incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and pregnancy or postpartum issues, while the Concussion Management program supports patients recovering from motor vehicle and sports-related concussions.

Orthopaedic Physiotherapy
Orthopaedic physiotherapy treats the common aches, pains, and injuries affecting everyday movement, including shoulder pain, low back pain, knee injuries, and other joint and muscle concerns. Hands-on treatment, targeted exercise, and education combine in a personalized plan to reduce pain and restore function.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Pelvic health physiotherapy focuses on conditions affecting the pelvic floor muscles and related structures, including bladder and bowel concerns, pelvic pain, and changes during pregnancy and menopause. Treatment is personalized to improve strength, function, and comfort in private, one-on-one appointments.
Pediatric Physiotherapy
Pediatric physiotherapy supports infants, children, and adolescents in developing strength, coordination, balance, and mobility. Treatment is tailored to each child’s needs and may address developmental delays, injuries, or conditions affecting movement, helping them reach their full physical potential.
Concussion & Vestibular Rehab
Concussion and vestibular rehabilitation assesses and treats symptoms like dizziness, headaches, balance problems, and trouble concentrating after a concussion or vestibular disorder. Treatment is individualized and may include exercises to help the brain adapt to movement, vision therapy, and balance training.
Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA)
MVA physiotherapy covers the assessment and treatment of injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents. Care is tailored to reduce pain, restore movement and strength, and support a safe and effective return to work and daily activities. No referral is needed to book an assessment.
Work-Related Programs
Work-related physiotherapy supports a safe return to work through functional assessments, job-specific testing, and guided rehabilitation. Programs include POETs, Comprehensive Functional Abilities Evaluations, and Physical Demands Analyses, alongside treatment for workplace injuries covered by WSIB.
Specialized Exercise
Specialized exercise classes are physiotherapist-led group programs built around strength, mobility, balance, and overall function. Each class targets specific goals or conditions to support recovery, help prevent injury, and promote long-term movement health. Many are covered by most extended health plans.
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic sound waves to stimulate healing in injured tendons and soft tissue. It can help break up calcification, relieve chronic pain, improve circulation, and support recovery in conditions that have not responded to other treatment.
