About the Guelph (Gordon Street) Clinic

Originally established in 2017 as Guelph Women’s Health Associates (GWHA), our Gordon Street clinic was created to provide a dedicated space for pelvic health physiotherapy and specialized care for women. As the first clinic of its kind in Guelph, it quickly became a trusted destination for individuals seeking specialized treatment for pelvic floor concerns, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, menopause, breast cancer rehabilitation, osteoporosis, and pelvic pain.

Today, as Eramosa Physiotherapy – Gordon Street, we’ve expanded our services while continuing to build on the strong foundation that made the clinic unique. Although our renowned women’s and pelvic health programs remain at the heart of what we do, our team now supports people of all ages and genders with a wide range of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services.

Our multidisciplinary team includes physiotherapists, an occupational therapist, psychotherapist, Pilates instructor, and other healthcare professionals, all working together to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care under one roof.

Featured Gordon Street Clinic Services

The Gordon Street clinic specializes in pelvic health physiotherapy, along with orthopaedic physiotherapy, post-cancer physiotherapy and rehab, and pre- and post-surgery rehabilitation. Sport injury rehab, concussion management, and physio Pilates round out the clinic’s core physiotherapy services.

This multidisciplinary approach means patients managing more than one health concern — physical, emotional, or nutritional — can coordinate several types of care through a single clinic.

Orthopaedic Physiotherapy
Orthopaedic physiotherapy treats the common aches, pains, and injuries affecting everyday movement, including shoulder pain, low back pain, knee injuries, and other joint and muscle concerns. Hands-on treatment, targeted exercise, and education combine in a personalized plan to reduce pain and restore function.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Pelvic health physiotherapy focuses on conditions affecting the pelvic floor muscles and related structures, including bladder and bowel concerns, pelvic pain, and changes during pregnancy and menopause. Treatment is personalized to improve strength, function, and comfort in private, one-on-one appointments.
Sport & Performance Physio
Sport and performance physiotherapy helps prevent, assess, and treat sports-related injuries while building the strength, mobility, and movement efficiency you need to perform. Care is built for athletes and active individuals, combining treatment with training aimed at a confident return to your sport.
Physio Pilates
Physio Pilates combines physiotherapist-guided movement with Pilates-based exercise to build core strength, improve posture, and support pelvic floor function and overall mobility. Sessions are tailored to individual needs and can support injury recovery, injury prevention, and better movement control.
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
Post-surgical rehabilitation supports safe recovery after surgery by reducing pain, restoring movement, and rebuilding strength. It includes specialized care after breast cancer surgery, with scar management, swelling and lymphedema support, and a guided return to daily activities.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps people rebuild the skills for daily activities — self-care, work, and leisure — after an injury, illness, or change in physical or cognitive function. It builds independence through practical strategies, activity modification, and tools or exercises suited to each person’s needs.
