About Aly Hodgins
Aly earned her Bachelor of Arts (Honours Specialization) in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario in 2007, followed by a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2010. She holds a Sports Physiotherapy Diploma and has completed training in Integrated Dry Needling, Acupuncture (AFCI), Concussion Management, BikeFit Canada Level 1, and High-Performance Certification (HPC).
Aly is a Registered Physiotherapist who manages EPA’s Health and Performance Centre. She has worked with Varsity Women’s Soccer and, since transitioning to high-performance sport in 2017, with Cycling Canada, Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, Skate Canada, International Curling, and the Canadian Track Cycling team at the Paris Olympic Games. She has a special interest in sports injuries, cycling injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation, with a research interest in cycling saddle health.
Beyond work, Aly enjoys curling, road biking, camping with her family, and gardening.
