Welcome to Eramosa Physiotherapy Elora

Eramosa Physiotherapy Elora is located at the corner of Wellington County Road 21 and Wellington County Road 7 beside Grand River Raceway. We have been at our newest location since 2009. The clinic boasts a bright, spacious, open concept main treatment and exercise area as well as four private treatment rooms.

In addition to offering physiotherapy and massage therapy, the Elora location has a convenient Health & Wellness Store. We have a variety of braces, tape, foam rolls, hot/cold packs, and exercise equipment available for purchase. We offer early morning and extended evening hours Monday-Friday to accommodate with busy schedules.

Our Elora location also accepts Motor Vehicle Accident and WSIB claims.

We offer direct billing to most major insurance companies.

Wednesday: 7:00am – 8:00pm

Friday: 7:00am – 6:00pm

Our Physiotherapy Services in Elora

Our therapists are skilled in a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, acupuncture, soft tissue release, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic health, and concussion management. We work with massage therapy on site to allow both health professionals to collaborate and provide the best possible patient care. We also offer the latest in therapeutic modalities including ultrasound, interferential current, TENS, muscle stimulation, electro-acupuncture, and mechanical traction. Our gym is spacious and equipped with the latest equipment including a treadmill, exercise bike, various resistance equipment, physio balls, foam rolls, and a TRX.

Jacqueline Sinkeldam

MClSc, BHSc (PT), BSc Hon (HK), FCAMT, CAFCI, Registered Physiotherapist, Senior Partner

Jackie is a graduate of the University of Guelph and McMaster University. She is a founding partner of Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates in May 1997. She has successfully completed her Intermediate Manual Therapy and Advanced Manual Therapy Exam (FCAMPT). In addition, Jackie has furthered her education by completing her Certificate of Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (CAFCI), Concussion Management, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and is known as a local Pelvic Health Care Leader. She is a clinical instructor for McMaster University and continues to be involved with ongoing research projects through both McMaster and the University of Guelph. Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Soft Tissue Release and Acupuncture. Her clinical interests include shoulder, low back, knee, women’s health, concussion management, pelvic health, and vestibular rehabilitation.

Meredith Fairbairn

BSc Hon (Kin), MScPT, Clinical Director, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist TPI certified, Registered Physiotherapist

Meredith is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, where she competed as an NCAA Division 1 golfer and the University of Toronto. She has furthered her clinical skills by completing her Manual Therapy Level 1-4 and is currently working towards a Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. She also holds certifications in Acupuncture and Dry Needling is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and holds a certification through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Meredith has also completed various courses in Pelvic Health focusing on the treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic/pelvic girdle pain, pregnancy, and the use of fascial mobilization. Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Soft Tissue Release, and Needling. Her clinical interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation and pelvic health. Sports Physiotherapy – utilizing her certification through the Titleist Performance Institute, Meredith performs golf assessments for injury prevention and rehabilitation. In her spare time, you will see Meredith on the golf course, riding her bike, or in the gym.

Rachel Martin

MSc (PT), BSc Hon (Kin), Registered Physiotherapist

Rachel is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Toronto. Rachel has furthered her education by completing her Manual Therapy Levels 1-3, and has successfully completed her Intermediate Manual Therapy and Manipulative Exam. She has also completed courses in Sport Physiotherapy Taping, Concussion Management, Vestibular Rehabilitation, AFCI Acupuncture Level 1, Shoulder Rehabilitation, Golf Fitness and Julie Wiebe’s “Piston Science” as it relates to the diaphragm and pelvic floor. Rachel has complemented her physiotherapy education by becoming a Body Harmonics Pilates Mat and Reformer Teacher. She has also taken courses specializing in Pilates for pelvic floor, pregnancy, and post-natal clients. Rachel teaches group mat Pilates classes at the clinic and individual Pilates Reformer sessions. Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, and Soft Tissue Release. Her clinical interests include shoulder, low back, concussion management, hip, and knee injuries.

Derrick Owen

MPT, BSc Hon, (HK) Registered Physiotherapist

Derrick began his studies by completing his Bachelor of Science Human Kinetics degree at the University of Guelph in 2013, and then went on to complete his Masters of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2016. Derrick has furthered his education by completing his Manual Therapy Levels 1-4, and has also completed training at Emory University and holds a certificate in Vestibular Rehabilitation from the APTA. Derrick looks forward to pursuing additional courses in Advanced Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, and Sports Therapy. His treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Soft Tissue Release as well as Patient Education. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal disorders and injuries, vestibular rehabilitation, and sports injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Yuki Fukushima

MPT, BSc Hon, (HK) Registered Physiotherapist

Yuki graduated from McMaster University for both her Kinesiology and Physiotherapy degrees. She has furthered her clinical skills by completing her Manual Therapy Levels 1 and 2, K-taping Pro Canada, and various Pelvic Health courses to specialize in incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and optimizing pregnancy. Her clinical interests include men & women’s pelvic health, musculoskeletal injury & prevention, and sports physiotherapy. Yuki works with the Fergus Highland Rugby Club to provide on-field care. She was a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the McMaster football team and played on the McMaster women’s rugby team. Yuki is bilingual in English and Japanese, and when she’s not in the clinic, she’s usually hiking, doing yoga or baking up a storm!

Having joined the EPA team in October 2018 during an exciting time as the company continues to grow. I am a certified Human Resources professional with 8 years of experience in employee onboarding, compensation and benefits and HRIS systems. I was raised and grew up in Guelph. I graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a BA in Psychology and Sociology and earned my Human Resources Management certificate from George Brown College. Always start my day with a coffee. I sincerely enjoy helping others. Mom of two young kids

Tanya Rempel

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Tanya is a graduate from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and has attained her certification in Massage Therapy from the College of Massage Therapy Ontario. She is trained in traditional Swedish massage as well as Trigger Point Therapy and Remedial Exercise. Tanya has acquired a certificate in Sport Massage Therapy and Hot Stone Massage. Tanya lives in Centre Wellington with her husband and is a busy mother of 4 children all involved in competitive sports. Tanya has hours in Elora on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.

Anna Kingma

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Anna is a graduate from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and has attained her certification in Massage Therapy from the College of Massage Therapy Ontario. Prior to certifying as an RMT, she earned a BA (English) from McMaster University, and an Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma from Conestoga College. Anna enjoys working with a wide variety of clients, from athletes to geriatric populations. In her free time, she enjoys playing several recreational sports and teaching local fitness classes. Anna is a resident of Centre Wellington and is available Monday Wednesday and Friday

Stephanie is our Elora office manager. She moved to Elora from Northern Ireland. Stephanie can be found at the Elora office and is your contact person for any marketing, sponsorship questions or billing/office questions relating to Elora.
