The clinic boasts a bright, spacious, open-concept main treatment and exercise area as well as four private treatment rooms. At EPA Elora physiotherapy  clinic, in addition to offering physiotherapy and massage therapy, the Elora location has a convenient Health & Wellness Store. We have a variety of braces, tape, foam rolls, hot/cold packs, and exercise equipment available for purchase.

In addition to offering early morning and late evening appointments, we offer direct billing to most major insurance companies and we welcome WSIB and Motor Vehicle clients.

Our Physiotherapy Services in Elora

Our therapists are skilled in a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, acupuncture, soft tissue release, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic health, and concussion management. We work with massage therapy on site to allow both health professionals to collaborate and provide the best possible patient care. We also offer the latest in therapeutic modalities including ultrasound, interferential current, TENS, muscle stimulation, electro-acupuncture, and mechanical traction. Our gym is spacious and equipped with the latest equipment including a treadmill, exercise bike, various resistance equipment, physio balls, foam rolls, and a TRX.

Jacqueline Sinkeldam

Registered Physiotherapist, BHSc (PT), BSc Hon (HK), MClSc, FCAMT, CAFCI, Senior Partner

Jackie is a graduate of the University of Guelph and McMaster University. She is the senior and founding partner of Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates, who has been providing excellence in physiotherapy and allied services for over 25 years. She has successfully completed her Intermediate Manual Therapy and Advanced Manual Therapy Exam (FCAMPT). In addition, Jackie has furthered her education by completing her Certificate of Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (CAFCI), Concussion Management, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and is known as a local Pelvic Health Care Leader. She has previously been a clinical instructor for McMaster University and continues to be involved with ongoing research projects through both McMaster and the University of Guelph. Her passion continues to be researching and developing physiotherapy programs to meet the needs of EPA’s clients. EPA’s physiotherapy programs are based on principles in Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Soft Tissue Release, Acupuncture and other modalities. EPA prides itself in being a leader in shoulder, low back, knee, women’s health, concussion management, pelvic health, and vestibular rehabilitation. Jackie is readily found promoting physiotherapy and its benefits through speaking engagements in the community, providing entrepreneurial and business mentorship and volunteering her clinical physiotherapy skills to under-serviced community groups. She continues to live in Guelph with her husband Dean and now 4 adult children. If you see her running on the trails, she is likely lost, so give her some direction.

Nicole Watson

Registered Physiotherapist, BHSc (PT), HBSc, Pelvic Health Associate Lead

Nicole is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and McMaster University. Nicole has furthered her education by completing Manual Therapy Levels 1-5, Pelvic Health Levels 1-4, and other courses related to incontinence, perineal pain, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy, bowel dysfunction and low back/pelvic girdle pain. She has become EPA’s clinical leader in our Pelvic Health Program. Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, and Soft Tissue Release. Her clinical interests include low back, hip, women’s health, chronic pain, and pelvic health. Nicole is responsible for keeping all other pelvic health staff up to date on Pelvic concerns.

Craig Dixon

Registered Physiotherapist, MSc (PT), HBKin, CICN, EPA Clinical Operations

Craig is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and McMaster University. After completing his Masters in Physiotherapy, he came to the Health and Performance Centre where he completed a Sports Physiotherapy Fellowship. Since he has been very active in working with a vast variety of varsity and elite/professional teams and athletes on campus and in the community. Some of his most notable experience in sport is his involvement with Rugby Canada, Golf Canada, the Guelph Nighthawks Professional Basketball Club, varsity hockey, rugby and track, and field. Aside from sports, Craig remains active in the classroom both as a teacher and student. He continues to take a variety of courses as he works towards his Diplomas in Sports Physiotherapy and Advanced Manual Therapy. He enthusiastically hosts guest lectures for the University’s Anatomy program and is a Clinical Instructor for McMaster’s Physiotherapy Program. Craig enjoys treating everything but has a special clinical interest is post-surgical cases and the shoulder.

Brett Lyons

Registered Physiotherapist, BSc (PT), M.Manual Therapy, FCAMPT, GIMS, Partner

Joining our Elora team in January 2025 – Brett is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and the University of Western Australia. With over 18 years of passion for physiotherapy, Brett continues to create teams of physiotherapists to develop evidence-based programs of physiotherapy services. Brett has furthered his education by completing his M.Manual Therapy, Sport First Responder, Vestibular Rehab, Acupuncture (Level 1), Concussion Management, and Mulligan Techniques, just to name a few. His treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Acupuncture, and Soft Tissue Release. His clinical interests include shoulder, low back, knee, sport injury rehab, and concussion management.

Emma Desrosiers

Resident Physiotherapist

Emma is a resident physiotherapist who has completed her bachelor’s degree in human kinetics at the University of Guelph and has recently graduated with a Master of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa. Originally from Cornwall, Emma is thrilled to make Guelph her new home as part of the EPA team in Elora to serve the members of this community. Emma developed a passion for working with the pediatric population throughout her placements and strives to help kids and parents achieve their goals. She believes in an approach that focuses on collaboration, making patients feel comfortable and empowering them throughout their care. Outside the clinic, Emma loves to play sports, her favourites being golf and hockey. She also loves to spend time outdoors surrounding herself in nature and can often be found lounging in the sun reading.

Camryn Zizek

PTA / Registered Kinesiologist

Camryn is a newly Registered Kinesiologist. Camryn completed a Bachelors (Honours) degree in Physical and Health Education from Nipissing University, 32 hours worth of weightlifting training and experience in a fast paced clinic. She has a passion for working with pre and postpartum patients as well as rookie to professional athletes!

Paul is a graduate of Darcy Lane Massage College in Massage Therapy. Paul lives in Centre Wellington with his wife Michelle and 2 children. Paul has hours in Elora on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Katie George

Occupational Therapist, MSc (OT), OT Reg (Ont.)

Katie George is a skilled clinician with nearly 20 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist. Having graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Western University, she always knew she would support children and their families to reach their goals. She began her career working in an Augmentative Communication Clinic, supporting children, youth and adults with diverse physical abilities with their writing and access needs. Later transitioning to a role at KidsAbility, she supported children and their families, in home, community and childcare settings. Her experiences at KidsAbility were diverse in nature as she supported a variety of programs. With specialized training in Picky Eating, Sensory Processing, PECS, Autism, Therapeutic Listening, Writing Skills, Kinesio-Taping, Neuro-Developmental Treatment and Solution-Focused Coaching, she brings vast knowledge and experience to support the unique needs of her clients. ​Working with clients and their families to establish goals that are meaningful to them is at the heart of the work she does. Utilizing a family and client-centred approach she can support children to develop the skills to address play, social and self-care needs as well as address self-regulation, attention, executive functioning and school-readiness skills. Katie looks forward to welcoming families to her practice to address their goals in a collaborative, client-centred manner.

Esther Knight

Office Manager & Third Party Billing Expert

Esther graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1996 and has worked in both the private and public healthcare sectors for over 26 years. Esther joined EPA in 2021 after relocating to Guelph from Brampton with her 2 daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, hiking, camping and gardening in addition to being an amateur photographer.

Sam Scroggie

Clinic Office Assistant

Sam graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts, and most recently received a diploma in Architecture Construction Engineering from Conestoga College. Sam is passionate about learning new things and is having fun in her pursuit of happiness. She is an Elora local and lives with her husband and King Shepherd. She enjoys collecting comics, and figures and if she’s not on her kayak you can find Sam focused on a new oil painting. 

Delaney Tone

Casual Receptionist

My name is Delaney Tone and I am from Arthur, Ontario. I am currently going into my third year of a BSc in Kinesiology at Queen’s University. Growing up I participated in various sports, and I want to maintain an aspect of this in my future career. I look forward to learning as much as I can from the EPA team and being a friendly face for all who visit us. In my free time, I am very involved in clubs and committees within my program, love reading, and get out on the ice or baseball diamond.
