We have a Full-Time Physiotherapist role Elora or split between our Elora & Guelph sites.   • Foundational Ortho Physio Rounds, fondly known as “a joint in a nutshell” are lead by FCAMPT, Sport and Orthopaedic Clinical leads covering the foundation of orthopaedic assessment and treatment with the goals of providing insight from experience in treating common conditions 
  • Collaborative Staff Rounds facilitated by our team following unique courses, community experts and more 
  • Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, Concussion Rounds and Peds Mentoring are facilitated primarily by our in-house seasoned Clinical leads and some local experts 
  • Emerging Leaders Rounds is available to senior staff and those who are either in or want to be in leadership positions. It is facilitated by leaders in our organization to help you grow your leadership skills, management, customer service and team collaboration skills 
  • OCE paid prep sessions are also offered to help new Graduates/Physiotherapy Residents prepare for the provincial exam and include a mock exam with individualized feedback and coaching. 
  • An assigned 1:1 provisional practice supervisor is paid to help Physio Residents. You don’t need to ask for help, they are paid to meet with you to review charts, brainstorm treatment plans and help build necessary skills for the OCE for exam

    • Gradually build to a full physiotherapist schedule. Our seasoned physiotherapists on average treat 1.9 clients/hour. 
    • 60 minutes assessments for all extended paperwork clients, 40-minute assessments once caseload is established, on average 1.9 clients/hour 
    • Paid time during new hire onboarding and training 
    • Clinic team building and company events are part of our “Great Place to Work’ initiative. We regularly host events and invite staff to attend company sponsored team activities, an annual year-end holiday party, and community fundraising events that our employees value. 
    • A robust and consistent marketing campaign that readily generates 2-3 new clients per shift while you are building your caseload and regular outreaches with our referral source

We are looking to build a roster of independent contractor Occupational Therapists to contribute to a variety of our programs and help service our client’s unique needs.

As a Community Partner with Trillium Health Partners, EPA provides specialty program services to those injured at work. Our Occupational Therapists will primarily be working within our Workers Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) Speciality Programs to help provide treatment and a safe return to work.

Typically, the Occupational Therapists will be one of our first points of contact and work with our team to direct or administer/supervise functional and objective testing, treatment and exercise functional therapy for orthopaedic and neurology populations.

In addition to the WSIB Specialty Program, they will work to formalize return-to-work plans for WSIB and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) clients Our Occupational therapists will service 7 of our 10 EPA locations, through both in-person and virtual assessment and treatment.

Candidate should possess:

  • Keen interest and experience in manual therapy
  • Excellence in exercise prescription
  • Willingness to participate in monthly orthopaedic rounds
  • Able to work afternoons from 1-8 p.m. with a compensated premium
