Located in Halton Hills, Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates Acton opened its doors in 2001.

In addition to our large open treatment and exercise area, the clinic also boasts 2 private treatment rooms, a separate massage room, and a Health & Wellness Store to care for all your bracing and rehabilitation needs.

We offer early morning and extended evening hours Monday-Friday to accommodate with busy schedules.

We offer direct billing to most major insurance companies.

Our Acton location also accepts Motor Vehicle Accident and WSIB claims.

Monday & Wednesday: 8:00am – 8:00pm
Thursday: 9:00am – 8:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm

Our Physiotherapy Services in Acton

Our Physiotherapists have been trained in a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, acupuncture, soft tissue release, and vestibular and dizziness rehabilitation. In addition to treating shoulders, backs, necks, and knees, we offer two unique programs at our Acton location. Our Pelvic Health program has been well established in the community where we address both males and females with pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, pregnancy-related concerns, and postpartum mothers. While our Concussion Management program addresses our client’s return to activity through specific evidence-based programs. We offer the latest in therapeutic modalities including ultrasound, interferential current, TENS, muscle stimulation, acupuncture and dry needling. In addition, we employ massage therapists that offer Swedish, myofascial and reflexogy.

Meryl Da Costa

Registered Physiotherapist, BSc (PT), BHSc (Kin), Clinic Manager

Meryl is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and McMaster. Meryl has furthered her education by completing a variety of Manual Therapy courses (Levels 1 – 3), Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Management, AFCI Acupuncture, Sports Taping, Pelvic Health Courses (Level 1-5), The Diane Lee Integrated Systems Model (Cranium, Cervical and Thoracic Spine and Lumbo -Pelvic – Hip) Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Soft Tissue Release Techniques and Specialized Exercise, to help return her clients back to their activities. Her clinical interests include men and women’s health, pelvic health, Concussion Management, shoulder, neck and vestibular rehabilitation sport injury rehab and SI Joint Rehabilitation. In addition to treating clients and managing both Acton and Georgetown locations she also mentors physiotherapy students and new physiotherapists that join the EPA team.

Dipal Modi

Registered Physiotherapist

Dipal is a Registered Physiotherapist and a graduate of the University of Northumbria, UK (Honours in Health Sciences and Masters in Rehabilitation). Dipal has furthered her education by completing all 3 levels of Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and other pelvic courses. She has also completed several courses and certifications with Acupuncture/Dry Needling. She has also received certification in Sports Concussion Management. Dipal has a special interest in Pelvic Physiotherapy and treating Women and Men’s Health issues. Dipal has more than 10 years of experience in treating a variety of Orthopaedic injuries including shoulders, knees, low back, pre/post-surgical rehab, and sports injuries. Outside of work, Dipal loves biking, hiking, and long drives with her husband. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Lori Trichilo

Registered Massage Therapist

Lori graduated from Canadian Therapeutic College in 2005, completing a dual diploma in Massage Therapy and Sports Injury Therapy. Lori uses Structural Integration and Myofascial Release techniques to help restore your posture to a healthy alignment, helping ease pain and ache. Using a variety of techniques; fascial release, cranial sacral, muscle energy, strain counter strain, joint mobilizations, reflexology, and Swedish massage; Lori is able to help restore your tissue health all while making you feel like your getting a relaxing massage. She is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30am to 4pm. Lori has also been a personal training for over 25 years and welcomes any questions about health and fitness.

Tejdeep Kaur Sahni ( Tej )

Registered Physiotherapist

Tej graduated from India with Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy in 2004. ( Guru Nanak dev university Punjab, India) I am a certified member of The Indian Association of physiotherapists. Tej has her Physical Therapist Assistant Registration Certificate from the University of State of New York NY and is currently a Resident physiotherapist with the College of Ontario and am in Good standing. Prior to transitioning to private clinical practice, I have worked in a variety of settings including Multispecialty hospital (India) Community Gyms Long term cares My treatment approaches include Soft tissue releases, hands on in combination with a targeted exercise program to establish patients’ rehabilitation goals. I treat my patients with compassion and consideration using the best and latest therapeutic approaches in Physiotherapy. I am dedicated to continuing education. I am currently pursuing a pelvic certification Personal I am a family-oriented woman. I love spending time with my 3 lovely kids and husband. I am very close to my siblings. I believe Family is the most precious and exquisite gift of life. In my spare time, I am fond of reading religious scriptures. My clinical Interest is 1. Orthopaedic focus 2.pelvic health

Amruta Patwardhan

Registered Resident Physiotherapist

Amruta was born in Mumbai, India and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from MUHS, Nashik India. She further went on to pursue her research and academic interests and earned a Master’s degree in physiotherapy with a specialization in Musculoskeletal conditions from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. She also holds an active license in USA and has experience treating musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions for a period of 3.5 years in the state of Texas, USA. Amruta has taken courses such as Kinesio-taping and plans to further her education by taking courses in manual therapy, soft tissue release, pelvic health and concussion management. Along with a deep passion for her profession, she enjoys doing yoga and is looking to integrate these two paradigms as a possible avenue for future career advancement. She also enjoys hiking, traveling and movie nights with her family. My clinical Interest is 1. Orthopaedic focus 2.pelvic health
