About Carla Placido
Carla earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph in 2000, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2003. She has since completed training in Acupuncture (AFCI), Concussion Management, Fascial Stretch Therapy, and Level 3 Manual Therapy.
Carla’s treatment techniques include Manual Therapy and Acupuncture, and she also treats concussion and pediatric conditions. Her clinical interests include low back issues and core strengthening, and she leads a Pelvic Core Connect class. Carla is based at EPA’s Cambridge clinic.
Outside the clinic, Carla enjoys spending time with her family, downhill skiing, coaching basketball, reading, gardening (especially growing her own food), and walking her dog.
