Bone Fit™ is a specialized exercise program that targets bone loss. Our staff complete the Bone Fit™ training and deliver the curriculum as designed by Bone Fit. It is a group exercise class, supervised by a Physiotherapist or Physiotherapist Assistant, designed to prevent or reduce the bone mineral loss that can come with aging, menopause, or other conditions affecting bone health. Classes run approximately 60 minutes, once a week, with rolling enrollment.

An assessment by one of our Physiotherapists is needed prior to participation in the class. The Physiotherapist will ensure that the class is appropriate as part of the treatment plan.

What to expect from your Eramosa BoneFit experience

Path to Improved Health is the framework every Eramosa patient follows. We’ve used it to guide assessment, treatment, and recovery since 1997 — and it’s how we make sure nothing about your care is left to chance.

Starting in the right place

We start by understanding where you are now — your history, your goals, and what you want to get back to — so the programme is pitched at the right level for you from the first session.

Guided sessions

Sessions are guided throughout. Technique is coached, exercises are adjusted as you go, and the level is set so that it challenges you without putting you at risk.

Progressing your program

As you build strength and confidence your exercises progress. Bone Fit™ is designed to leave you with something you can carry on with independently.
