Can’t find what you’re looking for? Give your clinic a call, or book an assessment and ask in person.
No. Physiotherapists in Ontario are primary care providers, so you can book an assessment directly. Some extended health insurance plans do require a physician’s referral for reimbursement — check your policy or ask our administrative team when you book.
YES, WE DO! We offer the convenience of direct billing to your insurance company. Most insurance companies allow us to bill them directly — and if yours doesn’t, we will gladly provide the paperwork you need for reimbursement. Learn more on our Direct Billing page.
Physiotherapy is not covered by OHIP at our sites. Many extended health care policies do provide physiotherapy coverage — we recommend contacting your provider to confirm whether you are covered and for how much.
You can book online with the clinic and practitioner of your choice, or call your clinic directly. Contact details for all eight clinics are on our locations page.
Your first appointment runs 45 to 60 minutes, one-on-one in a private treatment room. Your physiotherapist takes a full history, completes a physical assessment, explains what they find, and builds a treatment plan with you — treatment typically starts the same day.
Initial assessments run 45 to 60 minutes; follow-up visits are typically 30 minutes.
Comfortable clothing that allows access to the area being treated — shorts for a knee or hip assessment, a tank top or loose shirt for neck and shoulder concerns. If you forget, we can usually provide something at the clinic.
Yes. Clients seen through WSIB have access to the same services as all of our other clients. We will assist you in gathering the necessary information for a successful WSIB claim, and work closely with your employer and doctor for a successful and safe return to work. Please notify our administration when booking that you are being funded through WSIB.
Yes. Our Motor Vehicle Accident program provides assessment and phase-based treatment for injuries sustained in car accidents, with monthly evaluations and functional testing to support a safe return to your pre-accident activities.
