Located in Halton Hills, Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates Acton opened its doors in 2001. In addition to our large open treatment and exercise area, the clinic also boasts 2 private treatment rooms, a separate massage room, and a Health & Wellness Store to care for all your bracing and rehabilitation needs. Our Physiotherapists have been trained in a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, acupuncture, soft tissue release, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic health and concussion management. We offer the latest in therapeutic modalities including ultrasound, interferential current, TENS, muscle stimulation, and electro-acupuncture. In addition, we employ massage therapists that offer Swedish, myofascial and reflexogy. We offer early morning and extended evening hours Monday-Friday to accommodate with busy schedules.
Meryl Da Costa, BSc (PT), BHSc (Kin), Registered Physiotherapist, Clinic Manager
Meryl is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and McMaster. Meryl has furthered her education by completing a variety of Manual Therapy courses (E1V1, E2V2, Level 3), Vestibular Rehabilitation, Pelvic Health, and AFCI Acupuncture Level 1. Basic Sport Physiotherapy Taping, Manual Therapy Level 1, and AFCI Acupuncture Level 1. Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, and Acupuncture. Her clinical interests include shoulder, neck, women’s health, sport injury rehab, pelvic health, and vestibular rehabilitation. Meryl can be found both in Acton and Georgetown as Clinic Manager.
Nicole Steiber Sze, MSc (PT), BSc Hon (Kin), Registered Physiotherapist
Nicole is a graduate of McMaster University and the University of Toronto. Nicole has furthered her education by completing courses in Manual Therapy Levels 1-3, Vestibular Rehab, and AFCI Acupuncture Level 1-2. She is currently pursuing her Manual Therapy courses and working towards a Diploma of Advanced Manual Therapy. Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Soft Tissue Release and Acupuncture. Her clinical interests include shoulder, low back, and hip. Nicole will be returning from maternity leave Sept 27th 2016
Puneet Kaur MSc (PT), BSc Hon (Kin), Physiotherapy Resident
Puneet is a graduate of McMaster University and the University of Toronto. She is also a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She has completed Basic Sport Physiotherapy Taping and will be challenging Manual Therapy Level 1 through the Orthopaedic Division. Her treatment techniques include the use of Specialized Exercise, Manual Therapy and she is looking forward to adding Acupuncture to her toolkit in the near future. Puneet is interested in further pursuing her education in the areas of Manual Therapy, Women’s Health and Sport Injury Rehabilitation
Drew Countryman, MSc (PT), Registered Physiotherapist
Drew obtained his M.Sc. in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and his M.Sc. in Anatomy & Education from Queen’s University. Drew has successfully completed his Level I Manual Therapy course offered through the Orthopaedic Division and is currently pursuing the Level II courses with the aim of attaining his Fellowship in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy. Additionally, Drew has completed a K-Tape Pro course, and is keen to commence acupuncture training. Drew is also a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Lori Trichilo, RMT, Dip SIT, Personal Trainer
Lori is a graduate of Canadian Therapeutic College, completing a dual diploma in Massage Therapy and Sports Injury Therapy. Lori uses Swedish massage techniques and offers deep tissue treatments. She also has over 15 years of Personal Training experience. She looks forward to helping you with your therapeutic needs.
