Our Burlington location is looking for a Full Time mixed Ortho and Pelvic Physiotherapist
EPA is a physiotherapist owned clinic with 8 clinic locations, and a 19 year history. We pride ourselves with our efforts to provide evidence based care, with an emphasis on manual therapy and exercise. Our physiotherapists are encouraged to improve their clinical skills through ongoing education, both within the clinic with staff in services and through taking external courses. We offer 80 minute pelvic health assessments (40 min pelvic treatments) and otherwise schedule 3 orthopaedic treatment patients per hour. All care is exclusively provided by physiotherapists. Our patients often comment on the positive atmosphere that is evident throughout the clinic.
Our ideal physiotherapist will bring 2 years of clinical experience (Level 2 orthopaedic division completion & Level 1, 2 Pelvic Courses as well as official rostering through the College of Physiotherapy for internal work), a love for mentoring younger staff and future students, an interest in ongoing program & clinical development. However, candidates looking to expand their skills into Pelvic Health are welcome to apply provided that a commitment is given to complete the Level 1 and 2 Pelvic Health courses.
EPA supports our physiotherapists with an administrative team, massage therapy and a generous education allowance. In addition, our Pelvic Health Physiotherapists have additional support through mentoring and “pelvic health rounds” provided by our Pelvic Health Physiotherapist Associate.
