The ankle and foot are incredibly complex providing us with a wide variety of functional abilities. While weight bearing, our feet are constantly under stress. It’s no wonder so many of us have some sort of problem with our ankles or feet at some time in our lives. Whether it’s an ankle sprain as a result of uneven terrain or heel pain because of improper footwear, we have all had to deal with this at some point. The question is, was it treated properly? If not, chances are that previous ankle or foot injury is re-occuring or causing another problem somewhere else along your kinetic chain.
