Guelph Women’s Health Associates is the first of its kind in Guelph. GWHA is a unique Centre that has a focus on health issues that are unique to women. Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates has spearheaded the Centre and will be initially providing our unique programs: Pelvic Physiotherapy, Breast Cancer and Osteoporosis. In the New Year you can expect to be able to access many other providers including: Naturopathic Doctors, Osteopaths, Pilates, Yoga, Lactation consultants and more – all there with the focus on improving Women’s Health. A graduate of University of Guelph and McMaster University. Janet specialises in Pelvic Health having taken Pelvic Health courses for incontinence, pregnancy and pelvic pain as well as anorectal disorders. She has a clinical interest in treating lower back, and surgical rehabilitation. Janet did a intern placement in New Zealand, she loves to workout, run and play soccer.
Shannon Clutton Carr
MSc (PT), BSc Hon (Kin), Registered Physiotherapist
Shannon is a graduate of McMaster University and the University of Western Ontario. Shannon has furthered her education by completing courses in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Manual Therapy Levels 1-3, Lymphedema Management, Level 1 AFCI acupuncture, and specific courses related to Running Injuries and Dancers. She is also working towards a Diploma of Advanced Manual Therapy. Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Acupuncture, and STOTT Pilates Mat & Reformer. Her clinical interests include low back, knee, post-surgical rehab, sport injury rehab, and pelvic health specifically, pregnancy, incontinence, prolapse, and post-partum return to activity/sport.

Nicole has furthered her education by completing Pelvic Health Physiotherapy levels 1-3, paediatric Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Paediatric functions gastrointestial disorders, physiotherapy management of breastfeeding related conditions, orthopaedic division intermediate manual therapy examination, acupuncture levels AA1 and AA2 (AFCI). Nicole’s unique clinical interests include paediatrics, paediatric Pelvic health physiotherapy, pelvic health physiotherapy, and breastfeeding. Nicole has recently discovered a passion for helping children (and families) struggling with childhood bowel and bladder challenges. She is one of a handful of therapists in this area with extra training in these conditions! Additionally, Nicole enjoys working with breastfeeding families in the treatment of blocked ducts/mastitis and infant oral function. As a mom of two young children, Nicole understands the stress and challenges that can come with infant feeding!
Caitin previously worked as our Marketing and Communications Representative and has now brought her experience with EPA to Guelph Women’s Health. Caitlin has a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics degree from the University of Guelph and is now our Office Manager and is your contact person for any billing, marketing, scheduling, insurance, WSIB/MVA inquiries or questions. In her spare time she loves to hike and go camping and spend time with her family and friends playing board games and cards.
