Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates Georgetown is located in Halton Hills at the corner of Mountainview Road South and Argyll Road; it has been in operation since 2005. The clinic offers early morning and late evening appointments and has a Health & Wellness Store that sells hot/cold packs, braces, and tape. Our highly skilled physiotherapists are trained in a variety of treatment techniques that include manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise management, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic health, concussion management, and soft tissue release. In addition to physiotherapy, we employ massage therapists that have received formal training in Swedish massage and fascial release techniques. We also offer the latest in therapeutic modalities including ultrasound, interferential current, TENS, muscle stimulation, and electro-acupuncture.
Meryl Da Costa
BSc (PT), BHSc (Kin), Registered Physiotherapist, Clinic Manager
Meryl is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and McMaster University. Meryl has furthered her education by completing a variety of Manual Therapy courses (Levels 1 – 3), Vestibular Rehabilitation, AFCI Acupuncture, Sports Taping, Pelvic Health Courses ( Levels 1 – 50, The Diane Lee Integrated Systems Model ( cranium, Cervical and Thoracic Spine and the Lumbo-Pelvic-Hip). Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Soft Tissue Release Techniques and Specialized Exercise prescription to help her patients return to their activities. Her clinical interests include, men and women’s health, and pelvic health ,sport injury rehab Concussion Management and shoulder, neck, back, and S I Joint Rehabilitation. In addition to treating clients and managing both in Acton and Georgetown locations, she also mentors physiotherapy students and new physiotherapists that join EPA the team.
BSc (PT), Registered Physiotherapist
Zenil is a graduate of S.P. University from India. Zenil has furthered his education by completing Manual Therapy Level 1-5 and has earned his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Zenil is also certified in concussion, vertigo and dizziness management, acupuncture, dry needling, and medical acupuncture. His treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, soft tissue techniques, and Acupuncture. His clinical interests include orthopaedic conditions of the neck, shoulder, low back, and knees, concussion management, and post-surgical rehab, sport injury rehab.
Registered Massage Therapist
Janine Hood graduated from Humber College‘s Advanced Diploma Massage Therapy program in 2013, is a Member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and will be accepting new patients on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Janine’s areas of interest include rehabilitation, cupping, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and taping.
Treating a variety of conditions and injuries, Janine works collaboratively with patients to achieve and maintain their short and long term health and overall wellness goals. She will conduct a patient assessment and develop a personalized treatment plan suited for each individual. Clinical treatments focus on reducing pain, improving range of motion and restoring functional limitations.
BAHSc, CAT(C), Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Krystin is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Athletic Therapy Program and the Ontario College of Health and Technologies Massage Therapy Program. Having been in clinical practice since 2009, Krystin has an interest in treating various patient populations including athletes, pre and post natal, infants and post surgical scars. In addition to Massage Therapy, Krystin uses Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Cupping, and the use of Electrical Modalities. Outside of her clinical practice Krystin sits on the Board of Directors for the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario. If she is not in the clinic or Boardroom she is spending time with her three young children!
Emma is a graduate of the University of Guelph and McMaster University. Emma has furthered her education by completing her level 1 in manual therapy, a soft tissue release workshop, and the level 1 pelvic internal course. Her treatment techniques include the use of manual therapy, soft tissue release, and exercise prescription. Her clinical interests include women’s health and sports injury rehab.
Deb is our Georgetown office manager. She has lived in the Halton region for her whole life, and joined the EPA team in 2018 and has enjoyed everyday since. Deb is a Level 3 trainer, and has been the trainer for Halton Hills Minor Hocker for over 10 years! Deb can be found at the Georgetown location, and is your contact person for any billing/office questions regarding Georgetown.
