Eramosa Physiotherapy Elora is located at the corner of Wellington County Road 21 and Wellington County Road 7 beside Grand River Raceway. We have been at our newest location since 2009. The clinic boasts a bright, spacious, open concept main treatment and exercise area as well as four private treatment rooms. Our therapists are skilled in a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, acupuncture, soft tissue release, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic health, and concussion management. We work with massage therapy on site to allow both health professionals to collaborate and provide the best possible patient care. We also offer the latest in therapeutic modalities including ultrasound, interferential current, TENS, muscle stimulation, electro-acupuncture, and mechanical traction. Our gym is spacious and equipped with the latest equipment including a treadmill, exercise bike, various resistance equipment, physio balls, foam rolls, and a TRX. In addition to offering physiotherapy and massage therapy, the Elora location has a convenient Health & Wellness Store. We have a variety of braces, tape, foam rolls, hot/cold packs, and exercise equipment available for purchase. We offer early morning and extended evening hours Monday-Friday to accommodate with busy schedules.
Jacqueline Sinkeldam, MClSc, BHSc (PT), BSc Hon (HK), FCAMT, CAFCI, Registered Physiotherapist, Senior Partner
Jackie is a graduate of the University of Guelph and McMaster University. She is a founding partner of Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates in May 1997. She has successfully completed her Intermediate Manual Therapy and Advanced Manual Therapy Exam (FCAMPT). In addition, Jackie has furthered her education by completing her Certificate of Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (CAFCI), Concussion Management, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and is known as a local Pelvic Health Care Leader. She is a clinical instructor for McMaster University and continues to be involved with ongoing research projects through both McMaster and the University of Guelph. Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Soft Tissue Release and Acupuncture. Her clinical interests include shoulder, low back, knee, women’s health, concussion management, pelvic health, and vestibular rehabilitation.
Cherie Yantzi (Crous), BSc (PT), CAFCI , Registered Physiotherapist
Cherie is a graduate of the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Cherie has furthered her Orthopaedic skills by obtaining her Certificate of Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) through the Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapist Group of South African Society of Physiotherapy. She completed her Certification through Acupuncture Canada (CADCI) and she has completed courses in Concussion Management and Vestibular Rehabilitation. She is looking forward to completing her Manual Therapy Levels and to work toward her Diploma of Advanced Manual Therapy. Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Soft Tissue Release and Acupuncture. Her clinical interests include TMJ, shoulder, neck, hip, knee, sport rehabilitation and concussion management. Cherie has just completed her Pelvic Health certification Level 1 and 2. Please note Cherie is currently on maternity leave.
Rachel Martin, MSc (PT), BSc Hon (Kin), Registered Physiotherapist
Rachel is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Toronto. Rachel has furthered her education by completing her Manual Therapy Levels 1-3, and has successfully completed her Intermediate Manual Therapy and Manipulative Exam. She has also completed courses in Sport Physiotherapy Taping, Concussion Management, Vestibular Rehabilitation and AFCI Acupuncture Level 1. Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Soft Tissue Release and Acupuncture. Her clinical interests include shoulder, low back, neck, and concussion management and golf related injuries.
Meredith Fairbairn, MSc (PT), BSc Hon (Kin), Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Registered Physiotherapist
Meredith is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, where she competed as an NCAA Division 1 golfer, and the University of Toronto. She has furthered her clinical skills by completing her Manual Therapy Level 1 and 2, Sport Physiotherapy & Neuromuscular Proprioceptive Taping, Soft Tissue Release, and Acupuncture Level 1 and her Golf Fitness Specialist certification. Meredith has also completed various course in Pelvic Health including Levels1 and 2, Spinal Manual Therapy and the Pelvic Floor, Pelvic Girdle Pain, and Pregnancy and the Pelvic Floor. She is currently pursuing her Manual Therapy courses and working towards a Diploma of Advanced Manual Therapy. Her treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Soft Tissue Release and Acupuncture . Her clinical interests include musculoskeletal, pelvic health and neurological rehabilitation.
Derrick Owen, MPT, BSc Hon, (HK) Registered Physiotherapist
Derrick began his studies by completing his Bachelor of Science Human kinetics degree at the University of Guelph in 2013, and then went on to complete his Masters of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2016. Derrick has furthered his education by completing his Manual Therapy Level 1 and 2. He has also completed training at Emory University and holds a certificate in Vestibular Rehabilitation from the APTA. Derrick looks forward to pursuing additional courses in Advanced Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Sports Therapy. His treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialised Exercise, Soft Tissue Release and Patient Education. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal disorders and injuries, and sports injury prevention and rehabilitation. .
Tanya Rempel, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Tanya is a graduate from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and has attained her certification in Massage Therapy from the College of Massage Therapy Ontario. She is trained in traditional Swedish massage as well as Trigger Point Therapy and Remedial Exercise. Tanya has acquired a certificate in Sport Massage Therapy and Hot Stone Massage. Tanya lives in Centre Wellington with her husband and is a busy mother of 4 children all involved in competitive sports. Tanya has hours in Elora on Tuesday Wednesday and Friday.
Anna Kingma, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Anna is a graduate from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and has attained her certification in Massage Therapy from the College of Massage Therapy Ontario. Prior to certifying as an RMT, she earned a BA (English) from McMaster University, and an Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma from Conestoga College. Anna enjoys working with a wide variety of clients, from athletes to geriatric populations. In her free time, she enjoys playing several recreational sports and teaching local fitness classes. Anna is a resident of Centre Wellington and is available Monday Wednesday and Friday
Stephanie Sittlington, Office Manager, Marketing/Event Manager
Stephanie is our Elora office manager. She moved to Elora from Northern Ireland. Stephanie can be found at the Elora office and is your contact person for any marketing, sponsorship questions or billing/office questions relating to Elora.
Kathy Raynard, Receptionist
Kathy has been a resident of Wellington County for more than 25 years She has worked locally is various locations. We are delighted to have her as part of our team, she can be found at our front desk and can help with appointment booking and general inquiries.
Danielle McIntosh and Maya Karmakar-Johnson, Receptionist
Both Danielle and Maya are Centre Wellington residents, currently high school students at CWDHS; they can be found at the front desk in the evening hours.
