Today I experienced an “easy peasy” knee scope for a meniscal clean up from the eyes of a mom. Let me tell you the perspective is different.

Shoulder Pain Blog
Oftentimes individuals will ignore a slight recurring pain in their shoulder or arm thinking it will get better on its own. What these individuals don’t know is that shoulder pain can be as minimal as a quick intermittent pain, often described as a sharp catch, but can progress to a more constant, dull ache down the arm. Problems in the shoulder can occur with everyday wear and tear, overuse, or an isolated injury.

Concussion Blog
If a serious fall or blow to the head occurs, tell someone! The first step is to recognize that you may have sustained a concussion. While concussion symptoms can range from a headache to loss of consciousness to amnesia prior to or after the event, it is important to get assessed regardless of what symptoms you are experiencing. Removing yourself from all sporting activities, school, or work until a trained medical professional can assess your condition is crucial.
Pelvic Health Blog
Most individuals who experience pelvic pain suffer in isolation and are often hesitant to disclose their concerns for fear of the unknown or the likely pelvic examination. Pelvic pain is most often caused by dysfunctions like: tightening and/or shortening of the pelvic floor muscles, fascia, and ligaments. When pelvic floor muscles are functioning optimally, they maintain urinary and fecal continence and allow for pleasurable and pain-free sexual intercourse.
