Our Hespeler site opened in the northeast part of Cambridge and has been very successful over its fourteen year history. We offer physiotherapy and massage therapy services. We accept MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) claims and WSIB.
Managing partner Jay Patel uses this bright, spacious clinic to offer the residents of Hespeler convenience and excellence in orthopaedic physiotherapy.
Jay Patel, BSc (PT), Registered Physiotherapist, Partner
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Jay has studied Manual Therapy and Orthopedic courses. He has a strong background in manual therapy, active release and exercise prescription. His clinical interests lie in shoulder, back, knee, ACL and surgery rehabilitation, as well as sport injuries, including soccer and hockey. A local resident, Jay supports community programs and charities.
Carla Placido, BSc (PT), Registered Physiotherapist
A graduate of the University of Toronto, Carla is practiced in Acupuncture and Manual Therapy (Level 3). Her clinical interests lie in the areas of back rehabilitation, acupuncture and low back core stability training. As someone who loves exercise, she has a strong background in manual therapy.
Tim Childs, MSc (PT), BA Kin, Registered Physiotherapist
Tim graduated from Western University with a degree in Kinesiology before pursuing Physiotherapy at McMaster. His clinical interests include sports injuries, exercise prescription, and behavior change. He is currently in the process of completing manual therapy courses through the orthopaedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, as well as continuing education in acupuncture. Since 2008, Tim has served as a Medical Assistant in the Canadian Armed Forces Health Services Reserve. He has served throughout Ontario and parts of Quebec in a variety of field and clinical settings graduate of the University of Western Ontario,
Jane Esbaugh, Kinesiologist
Jane is a registered Kinesiologist she helps patients in the clinic with their exercise program.
Tamara McIver, RMT
Tamara has completed a 3 year Massage Therapy Diploma from Sir Sanford Fleming College. She has also completed the Ontario registration examinations in June 2006 and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). In June of 2007, Tamara also received extra training in myofascial release and a prenatal course through Trimesters massage therapy education.
Sam Lightowler, Office Manager
Sam moved to Cambridge from England in 2009 wither family and pets. You will find her covering Reception in the mornings and early afternoons, she is available to book appointments, answer billing questions, including MVA and WSIB.
Tara Lawson, Receptionist
Tara and her family are residents of Hespeler. You will find Tara most days covering Reception in the afternoons’ and evenings and she will be happy to help you book appointments and answer billing related questions.
