Jacqueline Sinkeldam, BSc Hon (PT), BSc Hon (HK), FCAMT, Registered Physiotherapist, Senior Partner
Jackie has successfully completed all of her short advanced manual therapy courses and subsequent exams to obtain her diploma in Intermediate Manual Therapy - Part B Therapist. She is a clinical instructor for McMaster University and continues to be involved with ongoing research projects through both McMaster and the University of Guelph. Her areas of clinical interest are the back and the shoulder. She is certified in female urinary incontinence, and has developed the osteoporosis program as part of EPA’s Women’s Health Program. Jackie can be found in Elora most days and treats patients on Tuesday and Thursday.
Mike Laidley, MSc (PT), BSc Hon (Kin), Certified ART® Provider, Registered Physiotherapist
Mike is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and Queens University. He currently holds the position of lead physiotherapist in Elora . Mike is currently working towards a Diploma of Advanced Manual Therapy. As an adjunct to his manual therapy and exercise prescription treatment, Mike uses Active Release Techniques® and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture to enable maximal gain with each therapy session. With an understanding of the functional demands of hockey and training, Mike uses his physiotherapy approach to restore adaptive potential, reduce the risk of injury and maximize athletic performance. Mike specializes in sport injuries, post surgical rehabilitation and concussion management. Currently, he can be found treating NHL and professional athletes at Depth Training in Waterloo, Monday – Friday at Eramosa Physiotherapy in Elora and Wednesday evenings at Definition Fitness.
Amanda Politano, MSc (PT), MSc (Med Sci), BSc (Kin), Registered Physiotherapist
Amanda is a graduate of University of Waterloo (BSc), and McMaster University. During her time at McMaster Amanda participated in a role emerging placement with the MacWheeler Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Program at McMaster which is a not-for-profit exercise rehabilitation program for community-dwelling adults with spinal cord injuries. During this placement Amanda also worked with individuals from the MacAccess Program, which is a program specifically geared towards the adaptive needs of the Multiple Sclerosis population to increase balance, endurance, strength, function and quality of life. During Amanda’s undergraduate degree she volunteered with the Well-Fit Program at the University of Waterloo where she assisted and monitored cancer patients perform a variety of exercises that were designed to minimize the negative side effects of cancer treatment. Prior to entering the Physiotherapy program at McMaster University Amanda worked as a personal trainer specialist for 3 years. Amanda has training in Acupuncture, and is advancing her skills through Manual Therapy and Pelvic Health courses. Amanda works at both Elora and Orangeville locations.
Rachel Martin, MSc (PT), BSc Hon (Kin), Registered Physiotherapist
Rachel is graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University (Kinesiology) and University of Toronto (Physical Therapy). Rachel has completed her Basic Sport Physiotherapy Taping course, is currently pursuing courses in Manual Therapy. Rachel has been a resident of Centre Wellington all her life and grew up playing many sports including soccer, basketball and golf. Her clinical interests are shoulder, back, soccer, and golf injuries. Rachel works in Elora on Tuesday and Thursday and Acton on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Paul Clark, RMT
Paul is an massage therapist specializing in deep tissue myofascial release and has been practising with the Wellington Wellness Group for 11 years. Paul was first introduced to massage while on a Co-op program with the Guelph Physio Therapy Clinic. While there he designed and implemented stretch and strengthening programs for patients under the guidance of the head physiotherapist. From there, he continued his education at Darcy Lane Massage College, graduating with honors. Now living here in Centre Wellington with his wife Michelle and 2 growing children, he calls Fergus home. Paul has hours in Elora on Monday and Thursday
Stephanie Sittlington, Office Manager, Marketing/Event Manager
Stephanie is our Elora office manager. She moved to Elora from Northern Ireland twelve years ago. Stephanie has two boys currently playing hockey in Centre Wellington so she is a busy mum. Stephanie can be found at the Elora office she is your contact person for any marketing, sponsorship questions or billing/office questions relating to Elora.
Kathy Raynard, Receptionist
Kathy has been a resident of Wellington County for more than 25 years She has worked locally is various locations. We are delighted to have her as part of our team, she can be found at our front desk and can help with appointment booking and general inquiries.
Kayla Teeter, Receptionist
Kayla is also a resident of Elora, she is our newest member of the EPA team; she can be found at the front desk in the evening hours.
