Elbow Pain

Elbow pain usually isn’t serious, but because you use your elbow in so many ways, it can definitely affect your life. Your elbow is a complex joint that allows you to extend and flex your forearm and rotate your hand and forearm. When elbow pain or dysfunction is present, we are aware of how much we rely on these elbow movements in day to day life. Many sports, hobbies and jobs require repetitive hand, wrist or arm movements. Because of this, the elbow is prone to overuse injuries of the surrounding soft tissue.

Common Elbow Issues:

  • Tendonitis and muscle strains
  • Tennis elbow, lateral epicondylitis
  • Golfers elbow, medial epicondylitis
  • Medical collateral ligament (MCL) sprains
  • Ulnar collateral ligament sprains
  • Fractured or dislocated radial heads
  • Fractured or dislcoated elbow or olecranon
  • Nerve pain
  • Radiculopathy
